So what if this year wasn’t that great in terms of films for Imran Khan, the actor still went ahead and took out time to support MFF. But looks like bad timings are coming in Imrans way. The actor had to do a presentation of a movie called Two Days, One night and guess what! The subtitles refused to play and to add on to it the day being an election day contributed in disrupting the planned presentation. Some unwanted elements at the event booed Imran for all these glitches, to which now Anupama Chopra has come ahead and spoken, “Imran was not there as an expert on this particular film. He was there as a supporter of MAMI and a cinema lover. What happened was mismanagement on our part, not his. He was one of the first people to lend support to the festival and the drive to raise money for it. I'm very sorry that he is having to pay for being kind. We hope this clarifies the situation.”
